Research Interests
My research is mainly focus in the study of physical properties (extinctions, SFRs, metallicities,...) of local star-forming galaxies, in particular in nearby Luminous Compact Blue galaxies using integral field spectroscopy technique.
I am also interested in the study of outflows/winds in nearby galaxies trhough the analysis of the NaD interstellar absorption. Results from this study in NGC 4321 and NGC 4258 galaxies using integral field spectroscopy can be found here.
The research of my thesis work was focus in the study of gas and dark matter distribution in nearby clusters of galaxies based on X-ray observations. In particular the analysis of the intracluster medium gas distribution and the relation between different cluster properties.
