Index measurements
Indexf is a C++ program that measures the most widely used line-strength indices (also including MgI and sTiO) in fully calibrated FITS spectra, and allows the user to define their own indices in a very flexible way. If required, this program computes index errors resulting from the propagation of random errors (e.g. photon statistics, read-out noise) and estimates the effect of errors on radial velocity.
Near-IR index predictions using fitting functions
NIRffs is a FORTRAN program to predict the near-IR indices CaT*, CaT, PaT, MgI, and sTiO on the basis of the computed fitting functions (Cenarro et al. 2002, MNRAS, 329, 863; Cenarro et al. 2009, MNRAS, submitted) for a given set of input atmospheric parameters. See more details in the README file.
