Data processing
The available programs are given in this list:
- Emir DRP: Development of Emir Data Reduction Pipeline for GTC. More details in the trac webpage
- Frida DRP: Development of Frida Data Reduction Pipeline for GTC. More details in the trac webpage
- indexf: This C++ program measures line-strength indices in fully calibrated FITS spectra. Full details are given in its web page. Author: Nicolás Cardiel.
- proas: This FORTRAN program computes the visibility conditions for astronomical observations. The initial data are the observatory location, observing date, and the target coordinates. The program computes the object altitude as a function of the universal time (UT). Full details are given in its web page. Author: Nicolás Cardiel.
- reduceme: This is a FORTRAN data reduction package, specially devoted to the analysis of long-slit spectroscopic data. Full details are given in its web page. Author: Nicolás Cardiel.
- rmodel: This FORTRAN program interpolates stellar population parameters from line-strength index measurements, using the predictions of common evolutionary stellar population models. Full details are given in its web page. Author: Nicolás Cardiel.
- sedfit: This FORTRAN program fits Spectral Energy Distributions from predictions of evolutionary synthesis models to a problem spectrum (e.g. a galaxy spectrum). The model spectra can be broadened and shifted to match the spectral resolution and radial velocity of the problem spectrum. This program is currently employed in the Master course "Stellar Populations in Galaxys and Clusters", and full details are given in its web page. Author: Nicolás Cardiel.
