Observing at Paranal

Jesús Gallego and Pablo G. Pérez González are observing with VLT (UT1: ANTU) 8.2m telescope of ESO Cerro Paranal Observatory at Chile.
The project aims to obtain infrared spectroscopy with ISAAC of star-forming galaxies which exist in the remote past of the Universe (redshift z~2). With these data we could estimate the star formation rate and some other properties as metallicity which will alloew us to get some insight into the nature of galaxies which populate the Universe 11,000 years ago.
