GUAIX members Armando Gil de Paz, Javier Gorgas, Elisa Toloba and Juan Carlos Muñoz attended the fourth and last MAGPop meeting held in Paris (November 12th-14th). They gave four talks describing their latest results on several topics: the edges of nearby disk galaxies, the abundance of carbon and nitrogen in elliptical galaxies, a multiwavelength analysis of the dwarf elliptical NGC3073 and the radial distribution of dust in nearby galaxies. Besides discussing about science with their colleagues, they also enjoyed the wonderful food of Paris and its beautiful sights.
