J. Gallego and R. Guzmán, core members of AEGIS
The last 15 to 17 December 2008 the AEGIS collaboration meet at Lick Observatory, University of California, Santa Cruz. J. Gallego and R. Guzmán were nominated as "core" members and P.G. Pérez-González was nominated as a "regular" member. GUAIX is the only spanish group represented in the AEGIS core.
UCM was selected to host the AEGIS meeting in december 2009.
AEGIS is the All-wavelength Extended-Groth International Survey that joins Extragalactic astronomers from Lick Observatory, Berkeley, Caltech, Harvard and other top research institutions. AEGIS adopted a new framework of core and normal members, opening the project to new collaborators bringing expertise in different wavelengths. J. Gallego presented an oral contribution about the GUAIX group and the instrumental developments. R. Guzmán presented the GOYA project.
