Sending of the photometers from NIXNOX Project

The first 12 units of the Sky Quality Meter (SQM-L) have been calibrated by Roque Ruiz Carmona and have started being sent to the associations that will collaborate in the NIXNOX Project, an initiative of the Sociedad Española de Astronomía (SEA).
For two months, some voluntary amateur astronomers will compile night sky brightness data and other relevant information so as to locate places in Spain where the dark starry sky can be enjoyed. Two months from then, the photometers will be sent to other associations to continue with the measurements until the cycle is completed in approximately six months (depending on the atmospheric conditions).
