After a brilliant degree in Physics, Francisco Ocaña has been incorporated into our group. He will work under the direct leadership of África Castillo and Jesús Gallego in the characterization of star-forming regions and sub-components in nearby and intermediate redshift galaxies using integral field spectroscopy.
The graduate Ocaña had already been working for years with the GUAIX Group within the detection of meteors and fireballs project. Like other members of the group, he is a precocious astronomer since he started as early as age 12.
