During the week of 15 to 19 July, Jesús Gallego and África Castillo coordinated the UCM summer course "Astrofísica del siglo XXI: la ciencia del Universo". In five days, the 53 assistants had the opportunity of knowing the last news from all fields of research in Astrophysics. Invited speakers were Rafael Bachiller, Jordi Torra, Álvaro Giménez, Xavier Barcons and Pedro Duque among others.
