Astronomers from the Universidad Complutense reveal how galaxies look in Ultraviolet light

A team led by astronomers of the Universidad Complutense recently carried out the most ambitious study to date of nearby galaxies in Ultraviolet light, a range unaccessible to the human eye that is only observable from space. In this study the astronomers used data from the NASA satellite GALEX.
