UCM Survey

A low-dispersion objective-prism survey for low-redshift ELGs was carried out by the Departamento de Astrofísica of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the Schmidt telescope at the German-Spanish Observatory of Calar Alto (Almería, Spain).

The wide field survey selected the star-forming galaxies via the presence of the Hα emission line in the low-resolution spectra recorded on objective-prism photographic plates.
